AWAKE Nashville is stepping onto the big screen, and you are invited to be part of the moment. In partnership with the Nashville Filmmakers Guild StoryGive Project, we are excited to share our short film One Bad Break, written and produced by Kyler Wilson and Natalie Ruffino Wilson. The film, starring award-winning actor Cameron Arnett, is a deeply moving story that captures how a single, unforeseen hardship can unravel stability for a senior living on a fixed income. It’s a humbling and human reminder of just how fragile housing security can be in a rapidly growing city like ours.
The film screening is more than a movie—it is an opportunity to spark meaningful conversations about aging, affordable housing, and the challenges facing older adults in our community.
