
Garrison Warren
Board Chair

Garrison Warren is a Tennessee State University graduate from Atlanta, GA. He launched his career at Regions Bank, Bordeaux Branch, where he built strong relationships and assisted the senior community with financial management and estate planning. In 2022, Garrison joined Johnson Capital Planning as Vice President, specializing in Medicare and Senior Supplemental Benefits. Garrison has been raised by the senior population, so serving on this board is near and dear to his heart.
Pamela Cowley
Board Secretary

Pam Cowley is from Memphis, TN. She is a Senior Population/Public Health Manager at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center. Pam has demonstrated experience in public health marketing, access to care, and community relations. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications from The Evergreen State College with a desire to support community collaboration in addressing health disparities.
Marcus Johnson
Board Financial Manager/Treasurer

Marcus is an experienced financial planner from Nashville, TN with a degree in economics and finance from Tennessee State University. Prior to starting his own financial firm, he worked on Wall Street for six years. He now offers financial services to 500+ clients around the world and continuously educates the community on the importance of financial literacy.
Brittany Waggoner
Board Chair of Volunteers/Events

Brittany is originally from Maynardville, TN but has lived all over Tennessee before finding her home and community in Nashville five years ago. From that time on she has dedicated her career to serving the Nashville community, specifically in the construction of affordable housing. Now she works in project management providing resources to over 30 non-profits. In addition, she also provides disaster recovery in Davidson and the surrounding counties. Brittany has a lot of older adults in her life that she cares for deeply, so being part of this board is incredibly important to her.
Alisha Haddock
Board Member

Alisha is a Nashville native with a distinguished career in relationship building, fund development, program oversight, and community relations. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing critical funding for affordable housing, disaster relief, and other community initiatives. Currently serving as Executive Director for Neighbor 2 Neighbor, Alisha previously served at the Housing Fund where she promoted loan products and oversaw a $15 million portfolio, while also launching innovative initiatives for affordable housing.
Kieme Eligwe
Board Member

Kieme is an Aging in Place Specialist from Stone Mountain, GA with a degree in public health and gerontology. She started her career in servicing older adults in long-term care and has advanced as a leader in the community advocating for health equity among seniors.
Hannah McDonald
Board Member

Hannah grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from The Newhouse School at Syracuse University. She is a trusted journalist in Nashville, TN, and has been recognized with multiple awards for her nuanced and empathetic reporting. Hannah knows some seniors feel invisible. She works hard to give them a voice to uplift the community and create positive change.
Dr. Melva Black
Board Member

Dr. Melva Black is a native of Nashville, TN and currently serves as the Deputy Director of Metro Public Health Department. She has more than 15 years of leadership experience in public health and social services, predominantly working with non-profits providing oversight to several programs that address social determinants of health. She also has extensive experience in property management.
Carter Swayze
Board Member

Carter Swayze is a native of Northern Virginia. He is also a husband, father, loves spending time outdoors, and is fascinated with the multifamily housing landscape. To date, Carter has worked on the development of nearly 1,500 units of affordable housing in the southeast. He is also active as a volunteer with Men of Valor, First Presbyterian Church of Nashville, and the Phoenix Club of Nashville.
Odalys Montez
Board Member

Odalys was born in Havana, Cuba but has resided in Nashville for 35 years. She is bilingual and has a degree in Business Healthcare Management from Tennessee State University. For the past 12 years, she has served as Program Coordinator for Metro Public Health assisting a diverse population to help improve and sustain their healthcare needs.
